Hat tip Libby

So we already know that a lot of stuff we've traditionally tried to see through the lens of individual agents who shape their own behaviour independent of each other (either through volition or some kind of pathology) is socially-spread

Obesity
Suicide
Binge Drinking

Now this study shows how happiness is something that spreads from person to person across social networks, too

[Here c/o Sam Roberts is the link]

UPDATE: So ask yourself this – if all these (important) things spread primarily through social means, why would the thing you & your client is concerned with is going to spread primarily through any other means…?

Glad that the good things are as contagious as the bad. I’ve been really into this lately – your work has made me think differently about my work. Currently applying this learning to Shiner beer, amazing breakthroughs to come.
