Everything goes better with tea.

Yorkshire High tea, natch.

And in that regard,

Betty’s is best of all.

My new North of England HQ, methinks

    But Mark, its in Yorkshire! The wrong side of the Pennines.
    Only joking. Still reading the blog sort of religiously, and getting a lot from it. Keep up the good work. Is there a new book in the works? Some of your comments seem to suggest so.

    Sorry, Mike. Tell me a better one on t’other side! As you know WW HQ is just above the rift in Cardiff (Torchwood HQ)…

    You could try, in Manchester’s Northern Quarter – the “Lower East Side” of Manchester (Wayne Hemingway)- alone;
    Drip on Dale Street,
    Love Saves the Day on Turner Street,
    or the Koffee Pot on Stevenson Square.
    The first 2 do excellent extra shot soya lattes, which I need every morning or my brain hurts. The Koffee Pot is Manchester’s funkiest greasy spoon, with its own myspace site. They are all a touch “different” to Betty’s. But I’m not really knocking Harrogate or York. Love to go to York via Harrogate when Swinton Lions are playing there. A great day out, and Betty’s is always so full we can’t get in!
