Malcolm Gladwell on Speed

Very flattered to see a review of Herd in Saturday’s Guardian (thanks, Ian for spotting it).

I like the idea of “Malcolm Gladwell on speed”.

Not sure what it means, but think the phrase is eminently herd-able.

    Dear mark,
what a coincidence you just posted something about herd! Herd is why I am posting this:
last week I left a comment (PHATIC is PHAT) on your blog that didn’t convince you to contact me. Why?
Probably it doesen’t look reliable if someone unknown asks you to contact him and not letting the cat out of the bag. To make sure I don’t have any doubtable intention and no purpose to annoy you in any way I am telling you – and obviously the rest of the world – what it is about. I am editing a yearbook for brandmanagement (Jahrbuch Markentechnik) in germany. This the seventh edition since 1995. It compiles articles fom renown authors for brand management and other brand related topics. I was wondering how many of the german readers are familiar with your thoughts which are such a wonderful experience to read and think about, rich and inspiring not only for people dealing with brands and advertising. (I am talking about «herd: how to change mass behaviour by harnessing our true nature»). And want to know whether you are interested in a contribution to the yearbook 2008/2009.
At the risk of annoying you once more I repeat my concern and ask you kindly to click my e-mailaddress to contact me if you find the time.
